Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 18, 2026

In short: I ask for very little. If you use the contact form, I only see what you type into it. This site doesn’t run ads or analytics, and I never sell or share your information for marketing.

PiggyPik (“I,” “me,” or “this Site”) respects the privacy of everyone who visits piggypik.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it’s used, and the choices you have.

1Information I Collect

  • Information you provide. If you use the contact form, I collect your name, email address, subject, and message so I can read and reply to you.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site’s hosting provider and security service automatically log basic technical information for every visit — your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request — mainly to keep the site running smoothly and securely.
  • Cookies. This site sets one cookie, to remember your language preference. See Section 3 for details.

2How I Use Your Information

I use the information above to:

  • Reply to messages sent through the contact form
  • Keep the site secure and prevent spam or abuse
  • Understand basic visit patterns and improve the site
  • Meet legal obligations, where applicable

I don’t sell your personal information, and I don’t use it for advertising.

3Cookies

This site uses a single essential cookie (pll_language) to remember which language you’re browsing in. It doesn’t track you across other websites and isn’t used for advertising.

If you use the contact form, hCaptcha (see Section 4) may set its own cookies to verify you’re not a bot.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking the language cookie just means the site won’t remember your language choice between visits.

4Third-Party Services

I rely on a small number of trusted services to run this site:

  • Hosting provider (ChemiCloud) — stores the site’s files and serves pages to you.
  • hCaptcha — protects the contact form from spam and bots. When you interact with the form, hCaptcha may process some technical information (like your IP address) under its own Privacy Policy.
  • Wordfence — a security service that monitors traffic to this site for malicious activity and helps block attacks.

These providers only receive what they need to do their job, and I don’t allow them to use your information for anything else.

This site is available in English, Korean, and Japanese, and is read by visitors around the world. My hosting provider’s servers may be located in a different country than you are, which means your information could be processed outside your home country. Wherever it’s processed, I hold it to the same standards described in this policy.

5Analytics & Advertising

This site does not currently run analytics tracking (such as Google Analytics) or display advertising. If that changes in the future — for example, if I add Google AdSense — I’ll update this policy to explain what’s collected and how, before those changes take effect.

6Data Retention

I keep contact form messages only as long as I need them to respond to you or for reasonable record-keeping, and delete them once they’re no longer needed. Technical logs kept by the hosting and security providers above follow their own standard retention periods.

7Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information I hold about you
  • Ask me to correct or delete it
  • Object to or restrict how it’s used

To exercise any of these, contact me using the details in Section 10.

If you’re in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland: the legal bases I rely on are your consent (for example, when you submit the contact form) and my legitimate interest in running and securing the site. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your information has been mishandled.

If you’re a California resident: you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its correction or deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. I don’t sell personal information.

8Children’s Privacy

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and I don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, please contact me and I’ll remove it.

9Data Security

I take reasonable steps to protect the information I receive, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so I can’t guarantee absolute security.

10Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the site changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.
